Open Positions

Generates revenue by soliciting and obtaining new accounts. Serves customers by providing product and service information, resolves product and service problems.

Responsibilities:

  • Must be knowledgeable of all products; updates job knowledge by studying new product descriptions
  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting new accounts; building relationship; providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations providing pricing, availability and delivery information
  • Grows accounts by checking customer’s buying history; suggesting related and new items; explaining technical features and advantages
  • Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint; determining the cause; providing the best solution to solve the problem; expedite the correction and following up to ensure resolution
  • Communicate with customer either by phone, electonically, or face to face
  • Responds promptly to customer inquires
  • Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends, identifying sales opportunities
  • Communicate with and support Outside Sales Team members with the assistance of Customer Service
  • Scan associated documents to sales order and/or quote
  • Protects companies value by keeping information confidential
  • Assist with annual physical inventory

Qualifications:

  • Minimum education required is a high school diploma, mechanical and technical aptitude helpful
  • Strong sales and prospecting skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication, both verbal and written
  • Excellent listening skills
  • Must be able to maintain a positive attitude while working with customers, vendors and coworker so to build a sound, long-lasting relationships
  • Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within given instructions and guidelines
  • Ability to multi-task, priorities and manage time effectively and be able to respond to different types of personalities
  • Knowledge of relevant computer applications
  • Ability to accurately type

DRIVER DUTIES:

Make local deliveries, load and secure truck with product, always secure truck gates before pulling out

Work with Supervisor to schedule deliveries

Keep all required logs and maintenance records

Work with Supervisor to schedule maintenance of delivery truck

Keep delivery truck clean and presentable at all times

WAREHOUSE LABOR:

Be knowledgeable of products and product packaging

Know procedures for both receiving and shipping using common carriers

Assist Supervisor with his duties when not driving

Know how to process bill of ladings for out bound shipments

Assist in keeping all equipment properly stored. Help keep warehouse, parts area, and demo area clean.

Report any building damage, leaks, breakage to Supervisor

Keep warehouse, parts area, and demo area clean.

Yard (front and back by tracks) to be moved and trimmed; grounds and parking lots to be kept clean.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITES:

Assist Supervisor preparing for annual physical inventory

When the Warehouse Supervisor is on vacation or otherwise out of the office, it is your responsibility to oversee the warehouse

REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:

Minimum education required is a high school diploma

Driver’s license required: Class B with air brake endorsement

CDL

Needs to be forklift certified

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Must be able to maintain a positive attitude while working with customers, vendors and coworkers

Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within given instructions and guidelines

Knowledge of relevant computer applications

Ability to accurately type

JOB SUMMARY:

Account Manager/Technical Sales person to design and execute a sales strategy for a territory, existing customers, and prospects to fulfill their requirements, and expectations from sale to implementation. Located in the Southeast region of the US.

ACCOUNT MANAGER DUTIES:

· Manage accounts through strong relationships; develop a trusted advisor; be aware of their goals and challenges; stay connected

· Use all tools to prospect and then qualify the needs of an account while developing the customer/supplier relationship

· Use all tools and resources to gain and build on product knowledge, processes, and applications

· Increase product penetration in existing accounts; promotion and introduction of new products

· Know competitors, products, pricing, and marketing strategies

· Maintain historical customer records: contacts, projects, targets, goals, forecasts

· Ongoing review of financial targets and assessments.

OTHER DUTIES:

Assist with annual physical inventory.

REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:

· Education BA/BS degree or equivalent or three to five years of sales experience

· Interest in and aptitude for industrial processes and sales

· Customer/Client focus; results driven

· Strong sales and prospecting skills

· Ease in dealing with small job shops to multi-department, multi-plant companies

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

· Proficient communication skills; listening, verbal and written

· Strong presentation skills and professional appearance

· Strong organizational skills

· Willing to travel; have a clean and valid driver’s license

· Should be competent in problem-solving and decision-making

· Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively and be able to respond to different types of personalities

· CRM and/or database management system experience preferred

· Basic knowledge, skills and ability to navigate standard computer software

WORK LOCATION: All authorized locations – Midvale offices or salespersons home office per assigned sales territory – Southeastern US

DEPARTMENT: Sales, reporting to Sales Manager

JOB CLASSIFICATION: Full time, exempt
