Cast zinc shot is a soft metal shot that can be reused several thousand times (in most applications) to remove burrs, flash, coatings, and paint without damaging the substrate of the material being blasted.
Zinc shot is easier on equipment compared to other metallic shots like carbon steel shot and stainless steel shot.
This product is one of the longest lasting and most productive blasting abrasives on the market. Zinc Shot provides a bright and smooth finish especially on foundry castings. It is also low dusting while reducing abrasive waste and disposal costs. One added benefit of cast zinc includes short term rust protection when used on mild steel parts.
